A follow-up to anons' question. What do you value in a friend?
Someone that actually has an opinion on things and disagrees with me. I know that seems stupid but if my bestfriend, for instance, agreed to everything I said and didn't challenge my ideals and such then we wouldn't have been friends for as long as we have. I can list x,y and z things like a checklist for the "ideal" friend but that is just weird to me because friends are not perfect and in being not perfect it helps you to grow as a person and as an individual.

I used to be obsessed with popularity until I realized that the more people you associate with the more vulnerable you are and I just gave up on that. I have really close friends now which id take over being "popular" any day because the friends I do choose to keep have substance where as if you are popular, you are popular solely because people project you to be so. To say yourself to be popular seems kinda… don't know the word for it but not true because to be popular is what people objectify as you being as if that makes any sense?

Every emotion I've had is drained, every dream I've ever had seems like such a long stretch and seems so hard to accomplish. No matter how much I sleep I'm still tired, no matter how much I study I still fail. What's the point? I give up, I'm unhappy and I'll have to learn to accept that.
